Information Session Scheduled – Property Tax 101!

In the interest of continuing community education and awareness with regard to property appraisals and how they affect local property taxes, Bandera CAD is pleased to announce an upcoming community event to be held at the Bandera Electric Co-op Community Meeting Room on December 13, 2018 at 6:00 p.m.

After the success of the sessions conducted last spring, we are more determined than ever to get our community informed and involved with the property tax calendar and the processes that are used to determine property values. In this session, we’ll discuss the basics of Texas property tax laws, appraisals, taxing units, and how they all work together to determine your local property taxes. We are planning future sessions at dates yet to be determined when we will discuss each component in more detail.

Please call or come by our office at 1206 Main Street, (830) 796-3039 to request a copy of your Appraisal Card. Be sure and bring it with you to the session, as we will go over them in detail.
